Hello again

It was where my Mum wanted to live but never got the chance, She had a short lived life. But I am really going to try and live there. As I said my heart is on the East Coast and well what more can one do. But follow his Heart. The residue on my feet are my kin Sisters and Brother. They could not cope with the illness I have so they well how can one put it. They Ditched me and where as one would call it ashamed of me as hay he has M.S. Not my fault but hay I deal with it so why can't they. 16 years they have not spoke to me.Sad really Sad people. Do you know what my nickname is. Warrior, I have come this far in life so hay. Lets go a little further in life. Life throws crap at you. But there is no point in dwelling in spilt milk. Life is for the living and I am not going any where yet.

Hi There

Just a quicky, I have been thinking about this for a long time. My heart is not in the Midlands anymore. I am hoping to move to the East Coast soon, Well I say soon, in a few years when I have scraped the residue of a former life from feet. Not that my feet go very far anyway lol. But no I have been thinking for a few years about this for a long time. .

As I said this is where my heart is and not in the Midlands. My heart was torn apart by many people in the Midlands. I am 44 years Old and I still hopefully have many years on this planet. I have many fiends on the East Coast and well better treated aswell. I will carry on doing my charity events and the one that I am hoping to do is slowly but surely taking shape.

It,s not because I a lazy lol but I am still feeling the effects from the Quest and well I don,t feel too bad but I still feel tired from it, Ha Ha Ha am I lazy??? nar don't think so just struggling a little bit and feeling sorry for my self. But hay at least I can moan on here about my health and well being. At least I achieved something. Well if I can help provide a walking frame. A wheelchair, or even help with some respite care for somebody or even a short break. I have achieved something. So when I do my next quest in a couple of years time please spare thought to me and the crew lol. The crew they are healthy, But me far from healthy lol I need my legs back as the have walked off and gone to Coventry.

This next ride has already been organised well nearly anyway. If i can help this little chap by what I am doing. then hay I will. He is going to need all the support he can get to live this world. More will be revealed later but that is just a taster for my next ride if I am able. Don't worry I will keep you posted lol but not just quite yet lol too soon. The date has been set>>>>>>>>>>> Wednesday September 1st 2010.Unless by some miricle somebody can help me fund it sooner he he he you can but ask. If they did the date would be Wednesday September 2nd 2009. Perhaps a little help is needed here. Take time out and help me think about this one.

What do you do to help your charity? People say charity begins at hame but do you know something? charity begins everywhere. Cancer, strokes, prostate, breast. There all cancers. We all need to chip in and help each other. People say hay Jack it will never happen to me. Layed back attitude. Not aware of what is happening in there bodies until one day. It is toooooooooooooo late. Don't be ignorant to what happens with yourself ennjoy life as much as possble. I try SO BE MORE AWARE. HAY HAY

Well got to get my thinking cap on and perhaps come up with another brain wave. The journey was great and well that one is over and anoher is set to begin. I have thought of something else and well i am sure it will not take long to get the wheels in motion. Fantastic excellent and it feels good I have been a help to so many people who suffer with M.S. such as myself. thankyou again people for all your support..................

Stu finishes big quest

Stuart Bliss raised more than £3,000 for MS UK.

Tuesday, 8.52am - A HOLIDAYMAKER from Nuneaton has raised more than £3,000 by travleling from Nuneaton to Chapel St Leonards in a specially-adapted wheelchair.

Stuart Bliss, 44, took around 23 hours to complete the mammoth journey but has proudly raised thousands for Multiple Scelerosis UK.

The dad of four said: "It was difficult and really tiring but I'm really pleased with myself.

"I'm really pleased I actually did it. I feel as if I've really achieved something."

Mr Bliss, himself an MS sufferer is a regular visitor to Chapel and the Skegness areas and has been coming since he was tiny.

He came up with the idea of what he has dubbed Stu's Big Quest when driving to the east coast on holiday.

He said: "We were coming to the east coast last year and I thought 'I can do this in my wheelchair'. My wife laughed so that made me even more determined to do it."

His family has been a great support as have people here and at home in Warwickshire.

He received a grand welcome at Happy Days caravan park in Trunch Lane, Chapel, where staff had reserved him and his two-man support team their own tables in the club with bubbly and banners welcoming him in.

Mr Bliss is planning to have at least a year off before he comes up with another adventurous fundraising scheme.

Hay Hay Hay. I went to the coast in my wheelchair. The experience was great. It was not a piece of cake believe me , but it was well worth it. The generator packed up, I got a couple of flatty's but people were papping there horn,s to boost us on. But do you know something it was well worth it . When we got to our finshing point at Happydays onTrunch lane we were presented with a cheque also a bottle of champagne and Skegness Standard came out to see us and we had photo shoots. It was lucky we had the in car charger, But many thanks to the Shell Garage on the A46 and the Pride of Lincoln on the A158 for charging my Batteries. It was one heck of Journey and as I said well worth the trip. Thanks to everybody who has shown interest in what I achieved and for all the Donations and pledges. And thanks to Ade for our Breakfast of what we all needed heheheheeheheheehe starving we were and hay hay spot on

Hay Rik you were right 286 hours to go and yes it is tick tick tick tick lol. I can't wait now. It is going to be such a big achievement to me and challenge. Check and double check and triple check and quadruple check the equipment. It is like hay not long now. Just around the corner. I am pleased everybody is taking this journey with me. Not in body but in thought. And I will fill this weblog up with pictures and short videos of my adventure. THE MAN WHO WENT TO CHAPLE SAINT LEONARDS IN HIS WHEELCHAIR O yeah heheeheheehe mad I know but achieved something. Anyway Rik , Tick Tick Tick Tick.

The weather has been fantastic he in the Midlands, I am hoping and praying it will be great on the day my Quest begins. If it is raining hay I am still leaving on that day July 2nd not far away. It's getting real close now and there excitement is here as well Preperation check and double check or perhaps triple check lol. I am not nervous. I am yeah heheehe just I can't wait and the support team are ready as well. You see some people say hay that is going to be easy? But you know something it's not, So what I am going to be sitting down in my wheelchair, But fighting the fatigue concentrating on other road users etc etc. But as I keep saying to myself lol if anyone can do it? Stu can do it. I know this is going to be hard for me very hard, But it is for a worthy cause.

The time when Stu's Big Quest was Born.

August 2007

The Dream I had about the

Quest on the A46 road

about reaching the East Coast

last year in my Customised

wheelchair is almost upon

me and I can't wait. It's going

to be very hard for me, Very hard

but i am going to try and achieve

this as i suffer with a lot of fatigue.

2 or 3 days i am hoping to do

this in and with the help of

my support team i am sure

i will do this and it's not a race

it is my personal challenge.

So hay hay and most of

all it is going to be an adventure

for me and at the

same time raising money for

the M.S.Society.

This took a lot of working

out and planning

with lots of help from

my family and friends on here

who have supported me and

such as the radio, papers and T.V.

and PDQ who made the

PowerTrike. Thankyou.

But my saying is, If anyone

can do it. Stu can do it. O yes

he can. I will give it all my

very Best.

Only 3 Weeks to go and everything is A.O.K. The Quest is in final preperation and the clock is ticking. I make it sound like a shuttle launch. OMG hehehe, it might as well be because this is a big thing to me. So it is T-Minus 667 hours and counting. I know it sounds silly lol but this is a big thing to me so Hay Hay July 2nd Just 3 weeks away. So this is Captain Stu of the Powertrike Cruiser signing off heheheehehee. Grow up Stu.

Just watching GMTV and here come the floods? Somerset took some flash flooding. But we can't undo what we have done, I am sorry but the Government think we are all magicians. The damage we have caused to this planet is so great we cannot reverse what we have done. The flash flooding is natures way of saying enough is enough. I am the Earth and I will not take anymore of your abuse. You know we have really taken this planet apart and we are just on the take take take. Blasting Drilling we take the Earths resourses. O yes we do but we never give nothing back. recycling is way way to late. Love the Planet not abuse it. It is here not just for us, It is here for our future Generations. What really is scarey, it is in our nature to just take take take so what chance has this planet got?

Chapel challenge for brave Stuart

MONEY is pouring in for a multiple sclerosis sufferer who is undertaking a 100 mile quest on his customised wheelchair to raise cash for charity.

As revealed in the Heartland Evening News Stuart is embarking on a massive challenge of travelling from Nuneaton to Chapel Saint Leonard's in a bid to raise vital funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Since the challenge was first started the 44-year-old has raised a huge £2,993 and there is still five weeks to go before he hits the road.

He said: "I have raised £2,993 already for the charity and I just cannot believe that I have done that and I would like to thank everyone for their support so far.

"It is just unbelieveable, when I first started I aimed for a target of around £1,500 to £2,000, but to get nearly £3,000 so far is just great."

The Brendon Way-based resident will be taking to the road on July 2 for a journey which is around 100 miles, on his customised battery-powered powertrike wheelchair.

The journey has been well planned out with two support cars going along with Stuart on his quest following at all times.

The fundraiser added: "Some people may think that it is going to be easy because I am doing it in a battery powered wheelchair, but it is actually going to be a physical challenge and also a mental one for me as well.

"I am just really looking forward to it and want to get it done, there are still five weeks to go and I just hope that that goes quickly because I am really looking forward to it now."

Now the story has been picked up by the national news and Stuart will be seen on the 'Your News' section of Channel Five News.

He said: "I just cannot believe how things have took off with the money and the amount of attention that I have been getting as well, it's just great that I am getting so much support and I would like to thank everyone."

The Multiple Sclerosis Society is the UK's largest charity for people affected by MS. The society funds research, runs respite care centres, provides grants, education and training on MS.
